Thrilled to share highlights from the recent Co-creation Workshop organised by Purpose in collaboration with Ecorys at Kerala Innovative Technology and Entrepreneurship Zone (KITEZ), Thrissur. Learning City Thrissur joined the discussions focusing on adolescent health and well-being on 6th September.

LCT member Ann Peter engaged with a diverse group of stakeholders from Thrissur, and looked at understanding the core needs of our adolescents. Here's what emerged from our collaborative effort:
PHYSICAL SPACES:
- Expand and Empower: There is a clear need to create more inclusive spaces where adolescents can express their identities and experience free and fair access. These could be in the form of newer collectives or building activities around these spaces to develop a deeper connection with the city.
DIGITAL SPACES:
- Engage Virtually: With several activities already happening in Thrissur, a need to explore ways in which the adolescents could be better involved via the digital realm and also partake in the activities of the city.
AUTONOMY:
- Reimagine City Swaraj: Beyond financial autonomy, we proposed a need for Swaraj (autonomy/freedom/self-governance/self-rule/self-determination/self-responsibility). By reimagining Swaraj and developing new alternatives one can empower adolescents and enhance their sense of autonomy while creating interdependent, healthy, convivial, communities.
Paving ways for the healthy well-being of adolescents in Thrissur!!
