Thrissur City Connect

Thrissur City Connect is an online programme for young adults to (re)establish their connection and relationship with Thrissur. TCC is an interactive exploration where we delve into multiple areas such as elements of history, localisation, active citizenry, pop culture, gendered lenses of the city and more, with activities intended to bring one closer to Thrissur and also to oneself.
7AM Gathering

The early morning gathering at 7AM in the city has plural aspects. We talk about ideas that matter; local solutions to global challenges, inclusivity and plurality in a city, lifelong learning, waste management, active citizenry and more. We delve into the local history of Thrissur, facilitating walks and trails. The 7AM gathering also offers a genuine space for sharing and listening, to help one connect with one’s own self along with connecting with one’s city.

Workshops
​
Our workshops are guided to look at Self, Society and Nature. While our primary audience is children and youth, the learning experiences we offer extend to adults as well. Looking at ecological interconnections, imagining city swaraj and more, helps citizens to work towards building a more liveable city by looking at their relationships with themselves, communities and the rest of nature.
