LEARNING CITY THRISSUR

The city provides for an ecosystem containing vast opportunities, resources and potential for enabling people to learn and develop themselves in ways that meet their needs, interests and ambitions.

Through Learning City Thrissur, we look at providing a platform where an individual can not only participate in their lives fully but also in the lives of the city in which they inhabit.

The Learning City Thrissur initiative seeks to facilitate learning, build awareness and undertake actions around the areas of sustainability and regeneration, waste management, local history and heritage, traditional knowledge systems and more, to aid localisation and promote an active citizenry.

A YOUTH MANIFESTO FOR THRISSUR

The Youth Manifesto for Thrissur 2025 is a collective vision co-created by the city's youth, presenting a practical and hopeful roadmap for a just, sustainable, and thriving Thrissur. It outlines actionable demands across fifteen sectors—from water, waste, and livelihoods to learning, governance, and culture—calling on local government and citizens to build a resilient, inclusive, and joyful city together.
